Instructive methodological class oriented at developing the ability to explain in nursing degree students
Abstract
Introduction: the instructive methodological class transmits didactic knowledge to teachers in certain aspects that constitute the core of the difficulties detected, contributing to their preparation. The development of intellectual abilities in university students can constitute the methodological objective.
Objective: design an instructive methodological class to guide the professors of the nursing department of the Medical Sciences Branch of Puerto Padre in the methodological treatment of the ability to explain in nursing degree students.
Methods:a qualitative investigation was carried out in the aforementioned department during the 2024 school year. The 12 teachers and 25 students of the second year of the nursing degree were intentionally chosen. Research methods at the theoretical level were used, such as historical-logical, analytical-synthetic and induction-deduction at the empirical level, documentary analysis, observation of teaching activities, interviews with teachers and questionnaires with students.
Results: the instructive methodological class was planned in three moments: approach to a motivational teaching situation, the execution of the operations system in teaching activities. The exchange with the teachers was fruitful, from which very useful suggestions emerged.
Conclusions:the instructivemethodological class guided the teachers in the treatment of the ability to explain, essential to form a nursing professional with logical thinking, ready to face professional problems.
